We went to West London Shooting School's best-known instructor Alan Rose (the voice of experience!) and to 2010 Commonwealth Games silver medallist Abbey Burton. Together, they have come up with a complete course of lessons for us, ranging from how to mount a gun through to how to hit sporting clay targets including pheasant, woodcock and the ever-so-tricky rabbit.
