The Kennet in the Thames valley is a beautiful place to fish whatever the time of year – especially when you’re allowed somewhere slightly off the beaten path. Fishing for chub, grayling, perch and dace (and catching trout), we are there with mad keen fisherman and recently retired Member of Parliament, Martin Salter. Fishing with him on the upper Kennet near Kintbury is head of the Angling Trust, Mark Lloyd.
