Fieldsports Britain – Man Shot in Pigeon Hide Accident

Alfie Oldring started his day looking forward to a day’s pigeon shooting. He ended it in hospital, fighting for his life. His pigeon-shooting buddy accidentally shot him in the stomach. But Alfie’s problems were only just starting. His injuries were barely covered by his shooting association insurance. Fieldsports Channel reporter Alex Howell looks at this insurance and finds out where it falls short.

Meanwhile, Charlie Jacoby is in Wales looking at the history of the bolt-action rifle. There is News, and Hunting YouTube rounds up the best hunting and shooting on YouTube this week. It’s all about guns – good and bad – in this week’s #FieldsportsBritain
