George Lawrence is hosting a group of friends and paying clients on a duck shoot at a reservoir which feeds the farm he works on outside Clacton on Sea on the south-east coast. It’s his first day of the season, and he’s feeling the pressure. George sets out the guns and we wait for the sky to darken with wildfowl – but the ducks are slow coming, and George is afraid today may be a washout.
