Stalking with the ThermTec Oryx 650L

Tim Pilbeam has been stalking fallow deer in the woodlands of Sussex and Kent using the ThermTec Oryx 650L thermal scope. He’s never shot a deer using thermal technology before so he’s looking to test it first in daylight. In this film he talks through some of the main features of this ThermTec unit, including a 640×512 sensor, ultra-clear 15mK sensitivity, and 2560×2560 AMOLED display. Designed for serious hunters, it combines a built-in 1200m laser rangefinder, ballistic calculator, and up to 8 hours of battery life.
