Clay shooting Champion of Champions 2022

More than 20 clay shooting county champions gathered at the 2022 Game Fair and battled it out for the title of CPSA Champion of Champions – and the chance to drive an Isuzu pick-up truck for a year.

One of the top contenders is Mike Jones, a farmer and gamekeeper from Shropshire. He made the final six at the English Open Sporting Championship in May, shooting alongside top names like Richard Faulds and George Digweed, and finished fourth.

Mike shoots a superb 48 ex-50 in the qualifier to make the final five – but Kent lorry driver Ben Hollamby pips him to the title of Champion of Champions to lift the trophy and win the Isuzu for a year. Mike has to beat two others in a shoot-off to take second place.
