Want to shoot alongside Britain’s top athletes in the Olympic disciplines of Trap and Skeet? Maybe you fancy your chances of being selected to shoot for Team GB, or even becoming British Champion?
British Shooting have just opened entries for their 2021 Shotgun Series. It’s a series of three rounds and an end-of-season Grand Final in OS and OT, the disciplines that will be shot at the Tokyo Olympics this summer.
All the events, including the Grand Final, are open to all. That’s a change from previous years, when you had to qualify in the earlier rounds to make the Grand Final.
“This reflects the success of the 2020 Grand Festival, where it was so good to have everyone attend the end-of-season finale event,” say British Shooting.
The title of British Champion will be awarded to the shooters with the best performances across the series. The Series events are also the principal domestic events used by the British Shooting Selection Panel to select teams to represent GBR.
British Shooting add “We look forward to seeing as many of the Trap and Skeet community as possible at all the series events in 2021!”
