The GB Women’s Skeet team won gold at the ISSF Junior World Cup in Suhl. The team of Phoebe Bodley-Scott, Sophie Herrmann and Beth Norton did it in style with a massive 7-1 win over Slovakia in the final on 18 May 2022.
Berkshire CPSA posted: “Phoebe and her team mates dug deep to post an amazing 195, just beating India by one target for a place in the gold medal match. The bronze match was contested first with India shooting brilliantly to lift the bronze from Germany.
“And then the nail biting gold medal match! The GB team showed real determination while giving a masterclass in reverse pairs! The Slovakian team quickly fell behind and were unable to catch the rampaging GB team.
After 4 stands of pairs, the match was decided – the GB team win gold!”
