Driven Grouse Shoot in Cumbria

It’s probably the most exciting birdshooting there is. We are driven grouse shooting on a Cumbrian moor. The day is organised by students from a gamekeeping college. Newton Rigg, part of Askham Bryan College, has taken a lease on the moor. It’s the perfect way for students at the Northern School of Game and Wildlife at Newton Rigg to get hands-on experience of producing one of the masterpieces of the world of hunting, shooting and fishing: a driven grouse day.
