What can the F.A.B do for you?
Layla cannot represent you in court. Instead she can tell you what to write and who to write it to.
The F.A.B is separate to our legal expenses (LE) insurance cover. Layla will use ‘LE lawyers’ if you are eligible. Even if you are not eligible for our LE cover, as a Fieldsports member, you are eligible for Layla.
Layla will support you by helping to complete firearms or medical paperwork and providing advice and guidance on how to respond to the authorities. She will draft emails and letters, and is available to sit in (remotely) on calls and meetings if required.
Firearms licensing in the UK is in a mess. Many constabulary firearms licensing departments are basket cases. While this is a public safety issue that is entirely the fault of the Home Office, the knock-on to shooters is dire. Layla is at the end of the phone or email to answer questions you may have.
