Fieldsports Britain – Deer injured by dogs

When they set specially-bred dogs on deer in the south of England, they leave the countryside littered with hobbling, injured animals. The lurcher boys are not interested in the deer – just the chase. They give coursing a bad name. Paul Childerley takes Ginny Langton stalking after a Chinese water deer on his ground in Bedfordshire, only to find two deer with bits torn off them. One of them Ginny has to shoot.
We are also pheasant shooting in Oxfordshire – and using Mitsubishi Browning vehicles.
News leads on Brian May’s possible bid for political glory and Hunting YouTube takes to the wilderness. It’s all in this week’s Fieldsports Britain. Pour yourself, sit back and enjoy it.
