Fieldsports Britain – The Warrener + driven rats + driven partridge

The Warrener, driven partridges, driven rats, and our competition to find Britain’s biggest rat. Roy Lupton uses everything from chainsaw smoke to Chinese takeaways to bring rats to his shotguns, airguns, terriers and blokes with spades. Meanwhile, a viewer from Hartlepool has sent in a picture of a rat that measures 18in from head to tail, which has inspired us to launch our Rat Attack Weekend, with the prize of a BSA Meteor Mk7 worth £185 for whoever sends the picture of the biggest rat by Monday 26th September 2011. Then we are with the legend that is the Warrener, reviewing his new foxshooting DVD. And, rather grander, we follow an English gameshot from brushing up on his partridge-shooting skills at Shalden Shooting School in Devon to facing the real thing at Catton Hall in Derbyshire – it’s all in this week’s #FieldsportsBritain
