Look out YouTube: there is a new airgun TV show in town. Launching in time for ShotShow, AirHeads is out two Thursdays a month on YouTube and features fun, news, tips, products and events in its line-up.
Hosted by Fieldsports Channel star Roy Lupton, it includes contributions from James Marchington, Daystate-sponsored Jerry Moss, Phill Price from Airgun World, Ted from the popular Ted’s Holdover YouTube channel, and Darren Rogers. It is by airgunners for airgunners.
Programme line-up on Fieldsports Channel now includes AirHeads,Fieldsports Britain, Headhunter Chronicles, The African BBQ Hunterand Schools Challenge TV. A fishing programme will be announced shortly.
“Fieldsports Channel gets 1.5 million views a month on YouTube and another half a million a month on Youku,” says Fieldsports Channel co-owner Charlie Jacoby. “Our views enjoy a swathe of fieldsports, and airgunning is probably the most popular shooting sport on YouTube. We feel we’re the perfect channel and this is the ideal time to launch a new airgun show.”
Fieldsports Channel has a new staff member, who is working onAirHeads. Aaron Jones has 15 years in the television industry behind him and comes from prodco BearLeft TV. Aaron, a BASC shooting coach in his spare time, says: “I have enjoyed working up the AirHeads format. YouTube is where television is going.”

Fieldsports Channel produces a half-hour weekly online TV programme about the best of British hunting, shooting and fishing.
Launched in 2009, it achieves 2 million+ views a month.
