Countryside calendar changes

Coronavirus has changed the shape of spring and summer events. Game fairs are moving dates. The Royal Windsor Horse Show is to ‘go virtual’. Here’s what’s happening:

17 July – 14 August Virtual Hound Show

Cancelled: 22-23 August Galloway Country Fair is cancelled

Cancelled: 28-29 August Northern Shooting Show, North Yorkshire is now not going ahead. It was formerly in May

Cancelled: 29-30 August Irish Game Fair & Fine Food Festival, Shane’s Castle, Co Antrim, is now cancelled – it will go ahead next on 26-27 June 2021 and is launching instead on 29-30 August.

Cancelled: 19-20 September Shooting & Countryman Show, EventCity Manchester, from the organisers of the NEC British Shooting Show. Find out more here.

Cancelled: 18-20 September The Game Fair, Ragley Hall, Warwickshire, formerly in July has now been cancelled. It will take place next on 23-25 July 2021. It is staying at Ragley Hall for the next five years.

19-20 September Countryside Rocks, Weston Park, Shropshire

Cancelled: 2-4 October GWCT Scottish Fair, Scone Palace, Perthshire, formerly in July 2020, moved to October, is now cancelled. Next GWCT Scottish Game Fair is 2-4 July 2021
