Cricket St Thomas estate story

The Taylor family bought the Cricket St Thomas estate in the 1960s. They are among the original diversifiers, finding ways to make 1,000 acres in Somerset pay, from traditional dairy businesses to wildlife park to shoot to Mr Blobby theme park. Charlie Jacoby spends a day on the estate with John Taylor, and meets the people who have made it a farm business – and made it a go over the last 60 years.
