Fieldsports Britain – Colossal crow shoot

It’s shooting skill like you may never have seen it. Crows, rooks and jackdaws are ravaging Andy ‘Crowman’ Crow’s arable farm in the South-East of England. A good breeding season means they are out in plague proportions and, once Andy’s crops are devastated, they will face starvation. The best shot in the world, George Digweed, accepts Crowman’s invitation to come on a day of corvid control. It is just before George goes out to Spain to win his 21st world championship and he is on fire. Crowman is not shooting badly either. Together, they shoot 585 birds.

That’s not all. Max Hunt visits a world-class taxidermist in Denmark, we have News Stump, Hunting YouTube, ‘Hallo Charlie!’ and top gundog training tips from Skinners. It’s all in this week’s Fieldsports Britain.
