Fieldsports Britain – wild goose song

September means wildfowling. Charlie heads to one of the homes of the sport, the River Kent Estuary in Cumbria, managed for wildfowl by the Westmorland Wildfowlers Association. With geese coming in to roost on the sands and duck moving up and down the river, he is out on the banks of the Kent with Ryan Teasdale and young shot Lucy Stevens. We also cover the politics of geese this week. News editor Ben O’Rourke heads to Orkney to find out why greylags there are such a menace, and why the RSPB refuses to do anything about them. Meanwhile, James Marchington is at the British open, where there is a popular winner this year. Paul Childerley shows off his Gerber knife skills with a top tip for aiming a rifle, David has the latest from the News Stump and Charlie puts out the best hunting and shooting videos on YouTube in Hunting YouTube. Keep it #FieldsportsBritain.
