The squirrels have gone barking mad in Charlie’s dad’s wood. They have killed a dozen young oak trees by stripping off the bark. It looks like sheer vandalism. Charlie calls in Jaf Jefferson from the South Somerset Ferreters to solve the problem. While we’re on ferrets, Charlie is off to Chris Potter’s 16th annual ferret show, also in Somerset, to find out what makes a great ferret. Plus we visit an Essex game farm that is providing 250 pheasant poults for us to auction.
