Irish Duck Hunt – Fieldsports Ireland, episode 6

For Fieldsports Ireland episode 6, Jason Doyle is up before dawn to go wildfowling in Co Wexford. It is one of the oldest forms of meat hunting in Europe. He is on the South Slob, on the banks of the River Slaney, and the duck and geese are there, but it’s too dark to see… then there’s enough light and the birds are still flying in well. He is also foxshooting – his buddy Stephen Dunbar is keen to break the 150-mark for foxes in 2018, protecting farmers’ lambs. And how do moderators work? Jason takes one apart to find out.
