We are putting in the miles this week. Hywel Morgan challenges Farlows’ Andy Buckley on the pretty River Dove in Derbyshire. They are racing each other to tie a fly and catch a fish.
Meanwhile, Charlie Jacoby goes back to his childhood (no surprise there). He goes fishing with Jeremy Fisher on Tarn Hows in the Lake District – Mr Fisher’s original location near Beatrix Potter’s home – and on the Rover Coln, a tributary of the Thames, he tries to recreate the halcyon fishing outings of Toad, Ratty and Moley from the Wind in the Willows. We have been on the ‘frog and toad’ this week!
There are monsters of the deep with David on Fishing Britain News, and Hooked on YouTube reviews the latest and greatest angling films on YouTube.
