A 10-year-old boy found a handgun in a dressing room in an Adidas store while out shopping with his mother in Atlanta, Georgia.
When he brought the gun to his mother’s attention she pulled the trigger to see if it was real. The gun, a .22-calibre handgun fired a bullet through a wall in the dressing room, which left minor damage. Nobody was injured in the incident.
Atlanta police spokeswoman, Stephanie Brown, said: “The weapon did not belong to the family and no charges were filed in this incident.”
A local gunshop owner told TV news that if you find a gun, “he doesn’t advise pulling the trigger for verification”.
