Zeiss launches latest generation V8 rifle scopes

Zeiss has launched its latest generation of V8 rifle scopes, with outstanding optical performance and featuring the world’s finest illuminated red dot which covers less than 3.5mm on a target at 100m. They are scheduled to reach UK dealers at the beginning of December 2021.

There are four new models to cover just about any hunting situation:

  • Zeiss V8 1.1-8×24 for quick shots at close range, as in driven hunting
  • Zeiss V8 1.8-14×50 is a versatile all-rounder for multiple stalking situations
  • Zeiss V8 2.8-20×56 for long-range shooting, even in very low light
  • Zeiss V8 4.8-35×60 for unparalleled sharpness at long distances

The 175-year-old German manufacturer explains that the scopes use Schott fluoride glass elements for true colour, brightness and clarity. The Zeiss T* coating gives a brilliant, high-contrast picture even in poor light and at dusk.

There’s an extra-large eye box which gives a wide field of view and allows you to acquire a target faster than before.

The scopes are designed to cope with extreme weather conditions, from desert heat to freezing snow. They are fully waterproof and unaffected by salt water. They’re robust, too, withstanding knocks and bumps without affecting zero.

The new scopes feature the world's smallest illuminated red dot for precise shooting

The sleek, ergonomic design allows you to concentrate on the job. The multifunction illumination control button is silent and can be operated with gloves on. The illumination switches off when you put the gun down, and reactivates instantly when you take aim.
