If Scotland doesn’t have a pig problem already, it’s not far off. Until recently Niall Rowantree had never seen a feral pig in the Highlands. Now he has shot 20 in the last 12 months. After a fact-finding mission to Germany, he sets out to shoot some wild Scottish pork, armed with a deeper understanding, his .308 and the latest HIK Micro thermal gear – only to find the local pigs tearing into the carcase of a sika he shot earlier.
