Jack Pyke Ashcombe Technical Fleece Jacket – review

The Jack Pyke Ashcombe Technical Fleece Jacket is a very versatile garment. It’s thin enough to wear under a jacket or smock, but it’s also an ideal top layer when the weather allows.

Fieldsports Channel’s Jason Doyle says “It’s smart enough for casual wear, but it’s also excellent as a hunting garment.” He particularly likes the thumbholes in the cuffs, which allow you to pull the sleeves down to keep your wrists and backs of the hands warm.

“There’s a useful little chest pocket for things like keys, and a drawstring around the bottom so you can cinch it in and keep the warmth in.” The jacket folds easily so you can slip it into a backpack when not in use.

“It’s little things like that which make all the difference,” says Jason. “It really is a super garment, a great all-rounder for everyday comfort.”

Retail price is £39.95.
