Man survives leopard attack **Graphic Images**

Farm worker, Zwelake Dyan, was lucky to escape with his life when he was attacked by a huge male leopard on a game reserve in the Eastern Cape, South Africa.

Dyan, was with a small hunting group that were focused on pest control of small predators when he came across the large leopard in dense bush.

“By the time I spotted the leopard it was already preparing to charge me. It jumped right into my chest, knocking me down and I went unconscious.”

Dyan is currently recovering well in hospital and said he had his dogs to thank for saving his life. The leopard was later shot by a member of the hunting party. Some reports suggest the huge feline weighed as much as 113Kg.
