A true broadcasting gem, Roy Lupton can turn his hand to a huge variety of fieldsports, from falconry to foxshooting. Following his appearances on Fieldsports Channel, he now writes the foxshooting column for Sporting Shooter magazine. He carries out deer and pest control on ground across the Home Counties and is a constant and reliable source of stories about fieldsports.

- Long range hunting - High impact filming
- Runtime
- 4:40
- View count
- 471,802
- Description
- Having filmed a lot of slo mo air rifle shooting we thought it was time for some slo mo gun powder shots. We join Roy Lupton on a trip to help a farmer get rid of some lamp-shy rabbits. The rabbits are causing enormous damage to the farm. He's shooting at around 300 yards / 275 m using a 22.250. At those ranges the rabbits would be just dots on the screen - but not anymore. Some gaffer tape and a bit of lateral thinking means we're now just inches away from target. The slo mo even shows up the air turbulence as the bullet nears the target. Of course nothing is wasted and the rabbits make a hearty meal for the ferrets. This film was first shown in Fieldsports Britain in April 2012

- Pellet power & performance - hunting feral pigeons in the farmyard
- Runtime
- 8:40
- View count
- 220,411
- Description
- Using high speed video we illustrate how the pellet flies through the air and the compensation you need to make a clean kill. We are after feral pigeons sitting on rooftops at all ranges. The pigeons are making a real mess of a grain store so we need to act quickly and efficiently with an Air Arms 410IS. We also discover the importance of making sure your pellets don't get knocked and distorted. Roy Lupton is handling the airgun and, to provide balance, Mark Gilchrist has a shotgun. This film was first shown in Fieldsports Britain episode 145.

- How to head shoot deer out hunting - age restricted - contains graphic images
- Runtime
- 2:20
- View count
- 195,266
- Description
- The YouTube headshot film. This video is designed to show where to head-shoot deer. It is aimed at deer managers only. You may find this film offensive. Head shooting deer is a tricky subject but some circumstances dictate it. In this film we're out filming a parkland deer cull. Using a high speed camera we capture the moment a fallow doe is shot in the head. It's not pretty but it shows how clinical the shot can be if done properly. Also, deer manager Roy Lupton uses a fallow skull to explain target areas and the importance of being confident in your own abilities and that of your kit.
This film is an add-on to an item in Fieldsports Britain episode 173. Click to watch that show here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KvT6oWdwPLc

- How to call in roebuck / hunting
- Runtime
- 6:06
- View count
- 183,355
- Description
- John Tobin has animal magnetism. A lot of it may be to do with the instrument tucked in his pocket - but it's what he does with it that counts. We're a week into the roe deer rut and we're out in 1,000 acres of farmland just south of Guildford on the Surrey/Hampshire borders. He will be calling roebuck for his friend Roy to shoot. This film first appeared in Fieldsports Britain, episode 1.
