Malin Hewins has brought together members of the German Wirehaired Pointer Club, plus friends (including a bracco Italiano), to pick up on a walked-up grouse day designed specifically for them. It’s on moorland above Edale in Derbyshire, beautifully organised by the Edale Estate. We see hundreds of grouse, shoot a few and all the dogs, which range from field triallers almost to puppies, show off what they are bred for and improve their skills
